  • product issues

  • UX and pricing concerns

  • operational bottlenecks

  • competitive insights

Translate real-world feedback into clear inputs for management, product, pricing and operations teams. Help improve internal playbooks, standards and partner communication materials.

Manage operational KPIs:

  • Ensure Company branding, service quality, and technical standards are met across all locations.

  • Oversee local support & field technicians.

  1. Financial ownership & P&L management

Full responsibility for the country's P&L and financial discipline.

Budget planning, forecasting, cost control, vendor contracting.

B2B Marketing Manager | AdTech Ecommerce Google Shopping | €70-90K | Hybrid in Amsterdam

Job Spec & Hiring Guide - B2B Marketing Manager

Location Amsterdam / Hybrid

Reports to CMO

Employment Full-time

Salary range €70-90K

About the company

We are a European e-commerce scale-up active in 21 markets, serving 25,000+ marketplaces, resellers, and brands. We run managed Shopping campaigns across Google, Microsoft, and our own comparison shopping platform on a pay-per-sale basis, operate that platform for 2M+ monthly shoppers, and offer a Premium CSS subscription that gives stronger bidding power in Google Shopping. With a team of 40+ across tech, operations, marketing, and sales, we are looking for a B2B Marketing Manager to own the pipeline our marketing produces.

Where comparison drives conversion.

Your role As B2B Marketing Manager, you own marketing-influenced pipeline across our 21 European markets. You report to the CMO.

You build and run our demand generation engine, spanning paid acquisition, outbound, inbound conversion, and lead nurturing, to turn interest into qualified pipeline at a viable cost. Together with our Content & Brand Marketing Manager, you'll also deliver pipeline from content, events, PR, and co-marketing with our affiliate, reseller, and agency networks. You set the B2B marketing direction together with our CMO, and then you deliver it.

You are commercially sharp enough to own the unit economics of acquisition, and hands-on enough that running the campaigns yourself is the job.

Responsibilities

  • Own marketing-influenced pipeline: the qualified pipeline that marketing produces, across every lever available

  • Build, run, and optimize paid acquisition and outbound campaigns end to end

  • Own inbound conversion and lead nurturing: the landing pages, lead capture, and flows that move prospects from first touch to sales-ready

  • Run co-marketing campaigns with our affiliate, reseller, and agency networks

  • Work together with our Content & Brand Marketing Manager to turn content, events, PR, and brand opportunities into pipeline

  • Own the marketing measurement: cost per lead, lead-to-deal, and LTV:CAC, with attribution through the CRM Align closely with Sales so leads are followed up and marketing and sales work from the same numbers

  • Coordinate freelancers and agency partners where needed

Requirements

  • 4+ years in B2B marketing, with hands-on execution of demand generation campaigns and a track record of producing pipeline.

  • Relevant experience matters more than the title you held

  • Breadth across the B2B marketing mix: you see co-marketing, PR, and brand opportunities as pipeline levers, not distractions

  • Experience in or adjacent to e-commerce, performance marketing, adtech, or marketplace/platform

  • B2B Commercial fluency: you think in cost per lead, lead-to-deal, and LTV:CAC

  • A hands-on operator who builds and runs campaigns themselves.

  • This role is built around doing, not managing Analytics and CRM fluency, with a platform such as HubSpot Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience building demand generation or a paid acquisition channel from zero, ideally across multiple European markets

  • Experience marketing into or through a channel or partner-driven sales model, such as affiliate, reseller, or agency networks

  • Background in affiliate marketing, comparison shopping, or CSS-adjacent businesses

  • Familiarity with the Google Shopping, paid search, or CSS ecosystem; GA4; HubSpot reporting

Benefits

  • Own the pipeline number for a fast-growing European e-commerce company, with real impact on commercial growth

  • Report directly to the CMO and work closely with commercial teams across the business

  • Work with great colleagues in a collaborative, supportive environment

  • An office in the heart of Amsterdam with a flexible hybrid working policy Room to grow as the marketing function and team scale

  • Company laptop and full travel cost reimbursement 25 days of annual leave

  • Work from anywhere up to 15 days per year Competitive salary

  • ClassPass membership

  • Healthy snacks in the office

Hiring guide

What this person does

  • Owns the company's marketing-influenced pipeline.

  • Builds and runs the demand generation engine: paid acquisition, outbound, inbound conversion, lead nurturing, and the attribution that ties spend to pipeline.

  • Works the full mix that drives demand: co-marketing with affiliate, reseller, and agency networks, PR, and brand opportunities.

  • Sets the B2B marketing direction and budget priorities together with the CMO, then delivers it.

  • Builds the tracking and attribution in HubSpot that connect marketing spend to the pipeline it produces.

  • Reports performance to the CMO.

  • Reports to the CMO.

  • Works alongside the Content & Brand Marketing Manager, a peer who also reports to the CMO and owns content strategy, brand expression, sales enablement, and event activation.

  • The division of labour: the Content & Brand Marketing Manager creates the demand assets; this role works with her to turn them, and everything else in the mix, into qualified pipeline.

  • Works cross-functionally with Sales and Partnerships across 21 markets.

  • The two roles succeed or fail on the same funnel.

The ideal candidate

  • The sweet spot is a hands-on B2B marketer with deep demand generation execution who feels responsible for the pipeline number, not for a channel.

  • Someone around the 4-6 year mark who has run acquisition campaigns end to end: launched the campaigns themselves, built the landing pages and nurture flows, and connected spend to pipeline.

  • But also someone who has reached for whatever produced demand: a partner co-marketing push, a PR result, turning an event presence into follow-up pipeline.

  • They may have owned a channel or a campaign portfolio, but they have not necessarily set company-level strategy, and they don't need to have here; they set the direction together with the CMO and deliver it.

  • What they need is the instinct to spot what to test next, across the whole mix, and the discipline to prove or kill it with numbers.

  • They come from e-commerce, performance marketing, adtech, or a related B2B environment.

  • They know HubSpot.

  • They are fluent in cost per lead, lead-to-deal, and LTV:CAC. They are energised by execution, iteration, and building.

  • They are unlikely to come from inside the affiliate or CSS ecosystem specifically, since the talent pool is too narrow.

  • More likely from adjacent B2B: e-commerce SaaS, marketplace platforms, adtech, or partner-driven businesses where they understand selling through intermediaries.

  • Be wary of two profiles: candidates drifting toward pure strategy or team management, and pure demand gen specialists who define the job as ads, landing pages, and lead gates and treat co-marketing, PR, and brand work as beneath the funnel. Both fail the mandate; the number is pipeline, however marketing produces it.

Compensation and positioning Salary band: €70,000 to €90,000 gross annual. Fully loaded around €90,000 to €115,000 (8% holiday allowance, roughly 25% employer social contributions, pension). This sits squarely in the Amsterdam marketing manager market, around the Marketing Lead average at the top of the band.
