Head of Marketing | Adtech
Job Spec
Job title: Head of Marketing Location: Amsterdam / Hybrid Reports to: CMO Employment: Full-time Salary range: €90-115K
About the Company
The Company is a European e-commerce scale-up active in 21 markets, serving 25,000+ marketplaces, resellers, and brands. It runs managed Shopping campaigns across Google, Microsoft, and its own comparison shopping platform on a pay-per-sale basis, operates that platform for 2M+ monthly shoppers, and offers a Premium CSS subscription that gives stronger bidding power in Google Shopping. With a team of 40+ across tech, operations, marketing, and sales, the Company is looking for a Head of Marketing to own B2B demand generation and help lead its marketing function.
Your Role
As Head of Marketing, you own B2B demand generation for the Company: the paid, outbound, and growth engine that turns interest into qualified pipeline across 21 European markets. You report to the CMO.
You own demand generation end to end, from strategy through to the pipeline it produces. You decide where budget goes, which channels to back, and how marketing converts into pipeline, and you own the measurement that proves it.
The Content & Brand Marketing Manager reports to you, one of the main levers you have to hit those targets. You are commercially sharp enough to own the economics of acquisition and hands-on enough to run the campaigns yourself while the function is small.
Responsibilities
Own B2B brand marketing strategy across the full funnel, from proposition through to conversion
Own demand generation strategy: decide which channels and campaigns produce qualified pipeline at a viable cost, and allocate budget accordingly
Own brand strategy, communications, and PR to build the awareness that feeds the funnel
Own content, distribution, and events that generate pipeline
Partner with affiliate, reseller, and agency networks on co-marketing opportunities
Own the marketing number and measurement: cost per lead, lead-to-deal, and LTV:CAC, with attribution through the CRM and spend tracked against closed revenue
Lead a lean marketing team and manage freelancers and agency partners
Requirements
6+ years in B2B marketing, with direct ownership of demand generation and a track record of producing pipeline. Relevant experience matters more than the title you held
Experience in or adjacent to e-commerce, performance marketing, ad tech, or marketplace/platform B2B
Commercial fluency: you think in cost per lead, lead-to-deal, and LTV:CAC, and can defend a budget with funnel maths
An entrepreneurial, hands-on operator who runs paid and outbound campaigns themselves. Team leadership is welcome, but the role is built around building and running, not managing
Analytics and CRM fluency, with a platform such as HubSpot; you own attribution and reporting rather than delegating them
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
Nice to Have
Experience building demand generation or a paid acquisition channel from zero for a B2B company, ideally across multiple European markets
Experience marketing into or through a channel or partner-driven sales model, such as affiliate, reseller, or agency networks
Background in affiliate marketing, comparison shopping, or CSS-adjacent businesses
Familiarity with the Google Shopping, paid search, or CSS ecosystem; GA4; HubSpot reporting
Benefits
Own the marketing engine for a fast-growing European e-commerce company, with real impact on commercial growth
Report directly to the CMO and work with commercial leadership across the business
Work with great colleagues in a collaborative, supportive environment
An office in the heart of Amsterdam with a flexible hybrid working policy
Room to grow as the marketing function and team scale
Company laptop and full travel cost reimbursement
25 days of annual leave
Work from anywhere up to 15 days per year
Competitive salary
ClassPass membership
Healthy snacks in the office

PPC Manager
Location: Office / Hybrid, Amsterdam Department: Operations Reports to: PPC Lead
About Us
We are a fast-growing e-commerce scale-up active across numerous European markets. Our mission is to build the smartest and most performance-driven shopping platform in Europe. With a growing team spanning tech, operations, marketing, and sales, we are building the foundation to support our next stage of scale.
Where Comparison Drives Conversion.
Role
As PPC Manager, you'll own the strategy, execution, and performance of paid search and shopping campaigns for a portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on Google Shopping via our CSS program (Google Ads, Merchant Center, and other CSS-enabled channels such as Bing Shopping). You'll be the primary point of contact for campaign performance, working closely with clients, the Partnership team, and the Tech team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, build, and manage PPC campaigns across Google Shopping (via CSS), Search, Performance Max, and Display, plus other relevant paid channels (Bing, Meta Shopping, etc.)
Manage and optimize Google Merchant Center accounts, including feed health, product data quality, and troubleshooting disapprovals/policy issues
Develop bidding, budget, and audience strategies to hit client KPIs (ROAS, CPA, revenue, market share)
Monitor and analyze campaign performance regularly; produce clear, actionable reporting and insights for clients and internal stakeholders
Conduct product feed audits and collaborate with feed/data specialists to improve titles, categorization, images, and attributes for Shopping performance
Run A/B tests on bidding strategies, ad copy, audience segments, and campaign structures
Stay current on Google Shopping/CSS program updates, Merchant Center policy changes, and broader PPC industry trends
Manage client relationships: lead calls, present performance reviews, and translate data into strategic recommendations
Identify upsell and growth opportunities within existing client accounts
Mentor junior PPC executives/analysts and review their campaign work
Collaborate with SEO, creative, and analytics teams for integrated account strategies
What We're Looking For
Essential:
3 yrs, solid hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns, with significant experience in Google Shopping
Working knowledge of Google Merchant Center, product feeds, and Shopping campaign structures (standard Shopping and/or Performance Max)
Strong analytical skills; comfortable working in Google Ads, Merchant Center, and reporting/BI tools (Looker Studio, etc.)
Experience managing budgets and reporting on ROAS/CPA-driven KPIs
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
Desirable:
Direct experience working within a CSS (Comparison Shopping Service) program
Additional languages
Google Ads certifications (Shopping Ads, Search Ads)
Experience with Bing Shopping
E-commerce or retail client experience
Personality Traits:
Ownership mindset: You estimate your own work, take responsibility for delivery, and follow through
Collaborative: You thrive in code reviews, technical discussions, and helping teammates solve problems
Pragmatic: You balance perfect solutions with shipping value quickly
Curious: You dig into system behaviors, read documentation, and propose improvements
What We Offer
Work with amazing colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment
Enjoy our office in the heart of Amsterdam with a flexible hybrid working policy
Opportunity for growth across content strategy, brand development, and commercial marketing
Company-provided laptop and full travel cost reimbursement
25 days annual leave
Option to work from abroad for 15 days of the year
Competitive salary
ClassPass membership
Healthy snacks in the office
HR Manager and TA Lead
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing Adtech scale-up based in Amsterdam, active across many European markets. Their platform processes millions of transactions per month, connecting advertisers and retailers with performance-driven tools to compete at scale.
This is not a startup finding product-market fit — they have it. This is a scale-up executing on a clear path to a solid FTE-plan by 2027. They offer real ownership early, a flat structure with direct access to decision-makers, and work that is commercially consequential.
Description
We're hiring an HR Manager, TA Lead and Office Manager, all in one, to own the people function end-to-end — HR, recruitment, employer brand, and office management — inside the CFO branch. No one micromanaging the function. You set the priorities, run the processes, and deliver.
Office management currently sits without a dedicated owner. In the near term you carry it. As the company scales toward target structure, a dedicated Office Manager is planned — until then, this is part of the job.
Role
What You'll Own
Talent Acquisition
Full-cycle recruitment: scoping, sourcing, process, offer, onboarding
Proactive outbound via LinkedIn; external agencies for hard-to-fill or specialist roles
Manage agency relationships: briefing, quality control, fee structure, performance
Manage EOR provider relationships for employees engaged outside the Netherlands
Target: time-to-hire under 45 days — track it and manage to it
Employer Brand
Own the company's careers presence: LinkedIn, careers page, how they show up to candidates
Position the company as a destination for commercially-minded people who want real ownership in a scaling European tech business
Define and maintain a high-quality, consistent candidate experience from first contact to offer
HR Operations & Compliance
Full employee lifecycle: contracts, onboarding, changes, offboarding — compliant and clean
Dutch employment law and GDPR/AVG for people data
Payroll inputs with Finance including cross-border and EOR complexity
HR casework: sound judgement, documented outcomes
HR Strategy
Advise the CFO and leadership on compensation, workforce planning, org design
Meaningful HR metrics: retention, headcount cost, time-to-hire, engagement
Build the business case for a second HR hire as the company scales toward a stable employee base
Office Management
Day-to-day running of the Amsterdam office: facilities, supplies, vendors, access
Onboarding logistics: workspace setup, equipment, tools for new joiners
Team events and offsites — logistically owned, not delegated
What We Expect
The stakeholder environment is senior, direct, and occasionally challenging. You hold your ground — on process, on compliance, on what is and isn't the right call — with confidence and without drama.
Autonomous by default: you decide what needs doing and do it
Backbone when it counts: HR exists to make the business better, not to rubber-stamp leadership
Lean mindset: external specialists for legal/tax complexity — not empire-building
Direct: no jargon, no preamble, difficult messages delivered professionally
Commercially aware: people decisions connect to the P&L
Your Profile
5+ years HR with genuine ownership of both operations and recruitment
Solid, practical knowledge of Dutch employment law
Proven direct sourcing track record (LinkedIn Recruiter)
Experience managing external agency and EOR provider relationships
Composure and confidence in senior stakeholder environments
Strong Dutch and English — both required
Scale-up background preferred (20–100 employees)
Multi-country EU employment experience a strong plus
What's on Offer
Competitive base + performance bonus
Real ownership of a function that matters, with a clear path to building a small team
25 days annual leave
ClassPass
Travel reimbursement
Company laptop
Hybrid: Amsterdam HQ with flexibility
