To drive our rapid growth, we seek a Country Manager to work side by side with me and our COO, owning strategy, P&L, sales, operations, and overall market performance in [Country].
This is not an easy role with a lot of responsibilities, we are looking for the most committed, proactive individuals ready to stand by their results.
Role Mission
Own, launch, scale, and optimize Company operations and commercial performance in your country.
As Country Manager, you act as the General Manager for the market - responsible for P&L, sales pipelines, operations, station deployment, partner development, financial discipline, and reporting to HQ.
Key responsibilities
Country Strategy & Market Growth
Build and execute the go-to-market strategy for your country.
Define coverage expansion: cities, districts, priority zones, high-traffic clusters (airports, transport hubs, malls, HoReCa districts).
Establish annual and quarterly targets for revenue, EBITDA, stations deployed, unit economics, and partner acquisition.
Build & Lead the Sales organization
Establish a high-performing sales structure: BizDev managers, KAMs, franchise partners (if applicable).
Oversee the full pipeline and ensure predictable growth:
lead generation and qualification
partner acquisition
contract negotiation
installation and activation
Personally own relationships with strategic accounts: hotel chains, retail groups, malls, airport authorities, HoReCa chains, event venues.
KPIs you own:
Stations installed and activated
Conversion: lead → contract → installation → active revenue
Regional ARPS and revenue growth
EBITDA
Operational excellence
Lead all operational processes in the country: installation, maintenance, SLA execution, logistics, and inventory.
Guarantee station performance and uptime across the entire country.
Manage operational KPIs:
uptime %
non-return rate (NRR)
Tap vs App usage ratio
fee leakage
installation speed & time-to-first-rent
Ensure Company branding, service quality, and technical standards are met across all locations.
Oversee local support & field technicians.
Financial ownership & P&L management
Full responsibility for the country's P&L and financial discipline.
Budget planning, forecasting, cost control, vendor contracting.
Evaluate profitability per city, region, station type, and partner category.
Apply unit economics to inform decisions on:
where to deploy stations
when to relocate underperforming locations
where to scale aggressively
Team Leadership
Hire, onboard, manage, and develop the local sales and operations teams.
Set clear goals and KPIs; run performance reviews and weekly business reviews.
Build a culture of accountability, speed, and ownership.
Coach your team on negotiation, partner management, CRM discipline, and operational best practices.
CRM, Data, and reporting to HQ
Own CRM accuracy and completeness across sales and operations.
Lead weekly/monthly reporting to HQ on:
sales performance
installations and activation metrics
operational issues and SLA compliance
partner feedback
financial KPIs and forecasts
Implement global Company standards for processes, data, service levels, and compliance.
Strategic partnerships & business development
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with:
retail/HoReCA groups
hotel chains
malls & developers
airport & transport authorities
event & entertainment organisers
Who we are looking for
Experience & Competencies
5+ years of leadership experience in sales, operations, business development or general management.
Proven track record in high-growth environments: tech, mobility, telecom, retail, HoReCa, vending, POS solutions, or infrastructure-based services.
Strong command of P&L management, budgeting, revenue planning, and financial modeling.
Ability to build teams and systems from scratch; ability to scale processes and manage multiple workstreams.
Experience negotiating with top-tier partners: hotel chains, retail conglomerates, airports, developers, international groups.
Highly data-driven and process-oriented.
Leadership qualities
Ownership mindset - you act as the CEO of your country.
Strategic thinker with strong operational instincts ("roll up your sleeves" attitude).
Excellent communication and executive presence; comfortable with C-level negotiations.
Strong leadership energy: ability to inspire, push, and develop people.
Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous, scaling environments.
