Shoparize is a fast-scaling international e-commerce and performance marketing company. As we expand our footprint and market influence, we are seeking a visionary and analytically strong Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy, drive acquisition initiatives, and design a scalable international entity structure to support Shoparize’s growth

The role

As CFO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, shaping the financial and structural foundation for accelerated growth. Your core focus will be to drive M&A execution, develop and oversee our international tax and financing structure, and guide the company through its next 3-5 year buy & build trajectory.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning
● Define and implement a 3-5 year company growth strategy, aligning revenue, margin, and capital structure targets.
● Manage the company's cash flow, working capital, debt financing strategy and capital expenditures.
● Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential investors, banks, lenders, and auditors.
● Support the CEO and board with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making. M&A Strategy & Execution
● Develop, lead, and execute a 3-5 year buy & build acquisition strategy.
● Identify, evaluate, and negotiate M&A opportunities aligned with Shoparize's strategic goals.
● Lead financial due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions.


International Tax & Entity Structure
● Design and implement a global tax optimization strategy, ensuring compliance and efficiency across jurisdictions.
● Set up and optimize international holding and operating entity structures for scalability and cost-effectiveness.
● Manage relationships with tax advisors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies.

Financial Operations & Forecasting
● Oversee budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting.
● Monitor performance against KPIs and advise on corrective actions where needed.
● Implement best-in-class financial controls, reporting systems, and cost discipline.


Team Leadership

● Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team (FP&A, tax, accounting, investor relations).
● Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and accountability within the finance function.

Ideal Candidate Profile

● 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, including executive or CFO-level roles.
● Track record of building financial systems and teams in a scale-up or growth-stage environment.
● Proven experience in M&A deal-making (preferably in e-commerce, SaaS, or consumer internet sectors) is a huge preference.
● Strong understanding of international tax law, corporate structuring, and cross-border financing.
● Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude and commercial acumen.
● Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including investor-facing experience.
